Thomas Road

The location for this painting was Oxford, Mi.  Around the barn there were beautiful flowers, every color you could think of.  I  enjoyed  this location and just had fun with  color.   11"x14"  oil on stretched canvas   $150.00  I also managed to put in a fellow painter . 

Jerome

I bet you think this scene is in Italy, well it is actually, Jerome, New Mexico.  A great place to visit, it is also home for a number of artists .  If you like the mountains you will love Jerome.  Oil on stretched canvas 16"x20"  $350.00 

Arbor

This was done when all the trees were in bloom, what a beautiful sight.  I only wish the blooms would last longer.  Oil  16"x20"  on stretched canvas      350.00

White Dress

This gal was a great model.  The painting was done indoors but I wanted it to look as if  it were outdoors. I am happy with the results.  16"x20"  on stretched canvas  oil        $450.00

Cloudy Day

I decided to paint this barn from the road looking up through the weeds for a little different perspective.  The day was very cloudy and a bit windy, I tried to capture those conditions.  Oil,  16"x20" on stretched canvas   $300.00 

Capac Barn

I drive by this barn on a regular basis and finally decided to paint it ,because, one good wind storm will have it on the ground.  In its day, it was a very fancy barn.  Oil on linen panel, 11"x14"   $150.00

Odd Pair

Another interesting subject, unable to go outdoors to paint due to the weather.  Stretched canvas 11"x14"   $150.00

Pine Cones

I never painted pine cones before , it was a real  challenge.  Oil, 16"x20"   $250.00

Near Santa Fe

This painting was done from photos I had taken the last time I was in Santa Fe, New Mexico.  The painting was done on hot press paper,  the two papers I like working on are  Arches hot press and Arches rough.  Watercolor is 9"x12" , also matted for $75.00

Rainy Day

Usually our plein air group paints out on Sundays during the summer.  This past Sunday it was raining but I decided to go paint anyway.  It was  a difficult  challenge to capture the rainy condition.   The watercolor is 9"x12" and matted  $75.00

Tuesday Model

This was done  with the Warren group on a Tuesday  morning.  I decided to do some watercolor portraits for a change it is 10"x12"  matted  $ 75.00

Hollyhocks on Oakwood Road

I like to do plein aire watercolors as well as oils.  I had already done an oil at this farm in Oxford, Mi. and decided to do a watercolor ,hollyhocks are one of my favorite flowers. It is matted and is $75.00

Hay Rolls

This plein air painting was done on Oakwood road in Oxford Mi..  Here it is already the end of July, the weather is just now beginning to cooperate.  Looking forward to painting out a lot during the month of August.  This painting is 11"x14"  on stretched canvas  $100.00

Scripps Mansion

This  plein aire painting was done on the grounds of Scripps Mansion, in Lake Orion Michigan .  A group of us artists were invited to paint and show our work during a gala event along with a  tour of the mansion.  This painting is 11"x14" on stretched canvas  $150.00
